Stella was born 3 months premature on December 3rd, 2018 and weighed only 1,100 grams. She spent her first Christmas and New Years in the NICU but she's spending Valentine's Day at home with her family.

The 'NFANT' Feeding Bottle Detects if Neonates are Ready for a Bottle
The 'NFANT' feeding bottle analyzes the way a child reacts to the device to determine if the baby is ready to be bottle fed. Created by NFANT Labs, the 'NFANT' bottle works by sensing the movement of an infants mouth on the bottle nipple. Then it will provide feedback to let mothers or caregivers know if the baby is bottle ready.
Demonstrated in the study is nfant Feeding Solution’s ability to monitor sucking skills in real time during feeding and the emergence of feeding patterns over the course of an infant’s hospital stay. The authors theorize that the nfant Feeding Solution will improve the current standard of care for initiation and progression of oral feeding as it goes beyond a subjective “trial and error” approach.
